Prof. Justin Holcomb

Rev. Justin S. Holcomb, PhD, is an Episcopal priest and teaches theology at Reformed Theological Seminary and Knox Theological Seminary. Previously, he taught at the University of Virginia, Emory University, and Agnes Scott College in the religion, sociology, and womens studies departments.

Justin and his wife, Lindsey, are authors of Rid of My Disgrace: Hope and Healing for Sexual Assault Victims and Is It My Fault?: Hope and Healing for Those Suffering Domestic Violence. Justin published an edited volume, Christian Theologies of Scripture: A Comparative Introduction, which explores the issues of authority and knowledge in Christian traditions.

Since 2001, he has traveled to southern Sudan to teach chaplains in the Sudanese Peoples Liberation Army and teach pastors. Justin and his wife, Lindsey, founded and direct Mosaic, a non-profit organization that initiates sustainable projects for peace and social justice in southern Sudan and Uganda, and partners with organizations to enact creative strategies to serve those who are suffering in these areas. Justin holds a BA from Southeastern University, MAs in Christian Thought and Theological Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary, and a PhD from Emory University.
