"Turn Your gaze away from me, that I may smile again.
Before I depart and am no more." (Ps. 39:13)
The gaze of God upon me came,
my sins no longer sleep,
His gaze without, within my soul,
and I began to weep,
I pray You Lord, forgive my sins,
self-deceived was I,
I beg You Lord, remove Thy gaze,
for death is drawing nigh.

as they were leading his Lord away, Jesus turned His gaze upon Peter.
What must he have felt at that moment?
